Timun Mas

           Long time ago,there was a widow named Mbok Sarni.She doesn’t have a child.She always prayed to God every night.And One  nigt a giant passed her house and saw she was praying.The giant said to Mbok Sarni  ” I can give you a child,But when she grow up until 6 years old.you must give her back to me”.Mbok Sarni seemed so happy and agreed with that.The giant gave her a bunch of seed ”Plant it around your house”.She planted the seeds and after a few days she placked and carried it to home.She sliced it be carefully and saw a beautiful baby,she named the baby Timun Mas.

           After a few years, Timun Mas grew up became a smart and beautiful girl.The giant came back to Mbok Sarni to bring Timun Mas.Mbok Sarni very scared and she had a dream,If she wanted to save Timun Mas,she must to met a holy Man in Gundul Mount.Then she went to Gundul Mount,she met a holy man who gave 4 litlle bags to protect Timun Mas.

           The giant came back again “where is your child?” “She goes to play with her friend” “don’t lie again you must keep your promise” “But,she really play with her friend” “Okey,you must call your child now” “ yes”.Mbok Sarni told Timun Mas to run and gave her that 4 little bags.The Giant was so angry and tried to chase her when Timun Mas ran,she opened the first bag and threw the cucumber seeds.It became cucumber fields and the giant  ate it.Then she opened the second bag and threw needles and it  became bamboos field.The giant still chased her and she opened the third bag  which contained salt.When she threw it,it became  deep sea.Then the last,she threw the fourth bag and that is shrimp paste.The shrimp paste became a big swamp of boiling mud.And the giant was dead in that swamp.Timun Mas and Mbok Sarni live happily ever after.
